Abstract
A literature review is made on the overseas studies of the relationship between human capital and economic growth over the past decade.The previous findings show that,theoretically,the interactivities among human capital,physical capital and innovation are usually put under the new model of economic growth to facilitate the establishment of the strategic complimentary model of human capital and innovation.Practically,priorities are given to the test of the function of human capital on economic growth,human capital spillover,the relationship between the quality and rank of human capital and economic growth,and the bidirectional function of human capital and economic growth.
