Effect of Montelukast in Treatment of Bronchial Asthma

Abstract

Objective:To investigate the effect of montelukast in treatment of bronchial asthma.Methods:57 patients with asthma were randomly divided into treatment group of 30 cases and control group of 27 cases.Both groups had antispasmodic of asthma,oxygen and other conventional treatment,treatment group had Montelukast chewable tablets 1 month,total course of treatment were observed.Results:The total effective in treatment group was 93.33%,in control group was 77.78%(P0.05).Conclusion:Montelukast is the exact in treatment of bronchial asthma,worthy of promotion.
