Abstract
Objective To explore the clinical effect of montelukast sodium in the treatment of pediatric asthma. Methods 90 patients with bronchial asthma were randomly divided into treatment group and control group. The control group(n=45) received conventional therapy, the treatment group(n=45) received treatment based on the use of montelukast sodium treatment. After 3 months, efficacies of two groups were compared. Results The total effective rate in the treatment group was 95.5%,higher than 84.4% in the control group.FEV1,PEF of the two groups after treatment were significantly higher than those before treatment, and was higher in the treatment group, with the significant difference(P0.05).Conclusion Montelukast sodium is effective in the treatment of bronchial asthma in children.
