Abstract
Objective To study the effect of Xinfukang on angiogenesis after myocardial infarction(MI) in rats.MethodsMyocardial infarction was induced by ligating the descending left coronary artery in male rats.Twenty four hours later,48 survied rats with AMI were randomly divided into myocardial infarction control group,sham-operated group,Xinkukang middle dose group and Xinfukang high dose group.After 4 weeks of therapy,cardiac tissue section was observed and the expression of CD31,VEGF,bFGF was detected by immunohistochemistry.ResultsCompared with sham operated,Xinfukang high dose group could enhance expression of CD31,VEGF,bFGF.ConclusionXinfukang can enhance angiogenesis after MI in rats and improve ischemia cardiac function.
