Abstract

Objective To explore the diagnosis and differential diagnosis value of C-reactive protein(CRP),white blood cell count and immunoglobulin(Ig) detection in children with acute respiratory infection. Methods 80 cases of children with acute respiratory infections in our hospital were divided into bacterial infection group and viral infection group, and 80 cases of healthy children in the same period were selected as the control group. The white blood cell count,CRP and Ig contents of children in three groups were compared. Results CRP,white blood cell count and Ig of bacterial infection group and viral infection group had significant differences when compared with those of control group before treatment, and CRP decreased significantly after treatment. Conclusion Combined detection of three indicators can determine the body tissue inflammation and the extent of damage more accurately, contribute to timely and accurately reflect the patient's condition and treatment effect, and be worthy of clinical application.
