Abstract
The accuracy of harmonic current detection is the most important part of an active power filter to work reliably.On the traditional harmonic detection algorithm,a improved ip-iq algorithm was improved based on three-phase instantaneous reactive power theory and conduct simulation under MATLAB/Simulink.Simulation results show that the algorithm can detect the harmonic currents timely and accurately,so the compensation current generated by the control unit can track the command current accurately.Finally,load harmonics was compensated accurately.
