Suggestions on Revision of Water Quality Standard for Drinking Water Source in China

The current situation of water quality standards of drinking water source at home is introduced,and the shortcomings existing in the water quality standards for drinking water source adopted now in China are analyzed.Thereby,the importance and necessity for revising the quality standards for drinking water source are obtained.As a result,rational suggestions on revision of the standard are made in terms of selection of indexes,determination of limit values,determination of application scope,testing method and enforcement organization.The application of the revised standard is prospected.
