A Clinical Study on Liver-Comforting Decoction Combined with Omeprazole in Treating Hepatogastric Swelter of Peptic Ulcer

Abstract

Objective To investigate the clinical curative effect of treating Peptic ulcer( PU) with LiverComforting Decoction combined with omeprazole. Methods 150 cases after Trigeminy treatment for one week were divided into two groups. The control group was given omeprazole capsules 20 mg,1 times a day,while the treatment group was given the Liver-Comforting Decoction additionally. After 4 weeks, the negative rate of Helicobacter pylori( Hp) and the rate of ulcer healing of the two groups were compared. And these patients were followed up tor 18 months. Results The Hp negative rate and the rate of ulcer healing in the treatment group were higher obviously than those in the control group,but the recurrence rate was the lower in the treatment group. Conclusion Liver-comforting Decoction combined with omeprazole in treating the hepatogastric swelter of Peptic ulcer can increase the cure rate,reduce the recurrence,and improve the prognosis.
