Abstract
Objective To evaluate the clinical curative effect of Hengluojiejie in patients with active-stage rheumatoid arthritis. Methods 80 patients with rheumatoid arthritis were randomly divided into conventional treatment group(control group)and Hengluojiejie treatment group(treatment group),which were treated with routine medicine or giving an additional Hengluojiejie treatment, respectively. Results After 12 weeks' treatment, the total effective rate in the two groups is almost the same. However, the effectual rate is higher in the treatment group,in which the improvement of morning stiffness time, average grip, joint pain, quantity of joint pain and swelling, blood sedimentation coefficient,C-reactive protein and rheumatoid factor were significantly better than those in control group. Conclusion The Hengluojiejie method can alleviate obviously active-stage rheumatoid arthritis symptoms, such as joint pain, rigidity and joint swelling, and improve the joint function.
