Clinical Study on the Effect of Guizhishaoyaozhimu Tang on Rheumatoid Arthritis

Abstract

Objective:To observe the clinical effect of guizhishaoyaozhimu tang on rheumatoid arthritis.Methods:Sixty-six patients of rheumatoid arthritis at the active stage were randomly divided into therapeutic group(n=33) and control group(n=33).The therapeutic group was treated with guizhishaoyaozhimu tang,while the control group was treated with leflunomide.Clinical symptoms were observed and physical and biochemical tests were carried out before and after treatment.Results:The total effective rate was 97.0% of the therapeutic group and 87.9% of the control group.The joint pain under press,the joint swelling and the time of morning stiffness in the therapeutic group were improved more than that in the control group.Conclusion:Guizhishaoyaozhimu tang has good effect on rheumatoid arthritis.
