The therapeutic effect of Dengzhanhuasu on rheumatoid arthritis.

Abstract

Objective to research the effect of Dengzhanhuasu on rheumatoid arthritis.Methods 86 patients with rheumatoid arthritis were divided into two groups. Patients in control group (n=40) were treated with routine therapy (美洛西康). Patients in treatment group (n=46) were treated with combination of Dengzhanhuasuand routine Western Medicine. The therapeutic course was 20 days in both groups. Indexes of clinic and laboratory were observed. Results Improvement of clinical effect and indexes from detection of lab in treatment group were superior to those in control group (P0.05 or P0.01).Conclusion Combination of Dengzhanhuasu and routine Western Medicine can effectively treat rheumatoid arthritis.
