Abstract
Objective:To study the relationship between abnormal chromosome karyotype and infertility, spontaneous abortion. Methods:Peripheral blood chromosome was prepared by conventional techniques and karyotype was analyzed. Results:39 cases of abnormal karyotype were detected in 367 cases. The rate of abnormal detection was 10.63%. Among them, number abnormalities were 4 cases, chromosome structure abnormalities were 20 cases, chromosomal polymorphism were 15 cases, accounting for 1.09%,5.45% and 4.09% in chromosome abnormalities. Conclusion:Cytogenetic examination is important for patients of infertility and spontaneous abortion.
