The Study of the Customs of the Zhuang Nationality in Guangxi

By making a study of the origin, formation and development of the customs of the Zhuang nationality in Guangxi, we hold that they originated in the taboo of religion, germinated in primitive society, formed in tribal alliance in the late of the Spring and Autumn Period, stabilized in the Qin Dynasty, matured in the Han Dynasty and was recorded in Ching Dynasty and developed by being handed down from big and small tribal heads. These customs have played an important role in guaranteeing the region of Zhuang nationality in good social order, in safeguarding the common interests of the region of Zhuang nationality and in promoting the development of the region of Zhuang nationality.
