Abstract
Objective:To Study the expression of E-cadherin(E-cd) in lung cancer and understand the relationship of expression of E-cd with prognosis of lung cancer and biological behavior.Method:We observed 46 cases of lung cancer and 40 cases of adjacent non neoplastic tissues through SP immunohisto-chemical method.Result:The positive rate of expression of E-cd in lung cancer was significantly lower than that in normal tissues(P0.01) and was negatively correlatede with TNM stages,Pathological grades and lymph node metastasis (P0.05,0.01,0.05).The correlation of expression E-cd is rather significant in NSCLC(P0.05).Conclusion:Our study suggests that expression of E-cd may has important valuation in progress and prognosis of lung cancer.
