Comparison of Several Kinds of Wheat DNA Extraction Methods

Abstract

In order to find out a better wheat DNA extracting method for the molecular marker analysis of large quantity samples,wheat leaves were used as experimental materials to study the DNA extracting methods such as CTAB 1,CTAB 2,CTAB 3 and NaOH method.The results showed that the NaOH method was very simple,but couldn't produce PCR.CTAB method reduced the cost and saved time for the experiment,improved the quality of DNA and simplified the extracting steps.The experiment indicated that CTAB 3 extracting method could save time and meet molecular marker analysis demand.
