Determination of Paeonolin in Gucixiaotong Capsules by HPLC

Abstract

Aim To establish an HPLC method for determination of Paeonol content in Gucixiaotong Capsules.Methods The content was determined by HPLC.The analysis was carried out on C_ 18 column;the mobile phase consisted of methanol-water(1∶1);the flow rate was 1.0ml/min,and the utlraviolet detection wavelength was at 327nm.Results The linear regression for Gucixiaotong Capsule ranged from 0.062 8 to 0.502 4μg( r =0.999 3).The average recovery rate was 99.16% with RSD 1.46%.Conclusion This method was sensitive,accurate,reproducible and exclusive.It can be used for quality control of Gucixiaotong Capsules.
