Research on the balanced development of urban and rural basic education in Gansu Province

The balanced development of urban and rural basic education is the essential strategic requirements of education to accompany the standard of building a well-off society and is an effective measure to achieve educational equity.Through the sample investigation into the basic education schools in Baiyin City and Linxia Zhou of Gansu Province,we have found the differences in per student education funding,basic educational condition,faculty status quo,and students' admission way and educational chance.Based on the analysis,this paper puts forward some corresponding countermeasures.
