Survey of the Current Situation of Rural Basic Education in Poor Areas of Shanxi Province & Countermeasures

A survey of the rural basic education in the XX county of Shanxi province shows that there are many problems in the rural basic education in poor areas in Shanxi province,such as old-fashioned education concepts,inadequate investment in education,instability of teaching staff and poverty of peasants' family.To speed up the development of rural basic education in poor areas,we should transform the traditional concepts of education,change and improve the management system of the rural education and evaluation system of schools,further improve the management system of rural basic education focusing on the county,and increase the funding for rural education investment.Besides,we should also strengthen the construction of teaching staff,improve the overall quality of teachers,increase the income of peasants,implement the free compulsory education,and promote the popularity of universal secondary professional education.
