Abstract
Pile foundation is one of the widly used foundation form,the traditional static loading test method is limited to use because of its time-wasting,laborious and money-wasting,but now the self-balanced loading test method instead of it.This paper introduce its principles and testing apparatus,as well as empirical conversion and exact conversion methods from the results of self-balanced method to the results of traditional loading tests are put forward.Finally,the application in Yilihe bridge pile shows its expansive prospect in heavy bearing capacity of bridge pile.
