Abstract
Objective To detect the efficacy and safety of anesthesia with remifentanil combined with propofol in painless gastroscopy. Methods 160 patients were randomly divided into two groups.Group A(80 cases)was anesthetized with propofol, whereas group B(80 cases)was anesthetized with remifentanil combined with propofol. The changes of heart rate, breath rate and oxygen saturation were observed during operation. The dose of propofol, the time for recovery and leaving hospital were recorded. Results The effect of analgesia in group B was better than that of group A(P0.01).The consumed dose of propofol in group B was less than that in group A(P0.01).Both the time of recovery and leaving hospital in group B were shorter than in group A(P0.01).Conclusion Anesthesia with remifentanil combined with propofol in painless gastroscopy is safer and more reliable than that propofol only.
