The clinical curative effect of hyperbaric oxygen therapy on diabetes auxiliary peripheral neuropathy

Objective To observe the clinical curative effect fo hyperbaric oxygen therapy on diabetes peripheral neuropathy(DPN).Methods 60 cases of patients with DPN were divided into the treatment group and control group of 30 cases of 30 patients.Two groups all were treated by diabetes education,diet management,exercise and oral glucose-lowering drugs,patients in the control group were treated with a cobalt amine 1 mg in 100 ml 0.9% NS,salvia miltiorrhiza 20 ml in 250 ml 0.9% NS,the treatment group based on this hyperbaric oxygen therapy,once a day for four weeks.Results The total effective rate of the treatment group was higher than that of control group(P0.05).Conclusion Hyperbaric oxygen is effective in treating diabetic periphenal neuropathy.
