Abstract
Objective To explore the changes of serum cardiac troponin T(cTnT) and myocardial enzyme concentrations and their clinical significance. Methods 39 cases with acute methmidophos poisoning (poisoned group) were tested of the level of serum cTnT and myocardial enzyme on the first, the third and the seventh day of admission. The results were contrasted with 30 healthy children (control group) and analyzed. Results The level of serum cTnT in the poisoned group were higher than those in the control group (P0.001).On the first and the third day of admission, the levels of serum creatine kinase(CK),creatine kinase isoenzyme(CK-MB),lactate dehydrogenase(LDH),aspartate aminotansferase (AST) and α-hydrooxybutryrate dehydrogenase (α-HBDH ) in the poisoned group were higher than those in the contrast group(P0.001).On the seventh day of admission,CK and AST reduced to the normal level. But CK-MB,LDH and α-HBDH remained higher than those in the control group ( P 0.01 and P 0.05). Conclusions Children with acute methmidophos poisoning will have myocardial injury as a whole.Examination of cardiac troponin T and myocardial enzyme concentrations has great value in diagnosing children of acute methmidophos poisoning complicated with myocardial injury.
