Abstract

Ursolic acid and oleanolic acid from Punica granatum L.were extracted by supersonic technology.RP-HPLC method for the determination of ursolic acid and oleanolic acid was developed.Ursolic acid and Oleanolic acid was separated and analyzed on Kromasil C18column(250mm×4.6mm,5μm)using methanol-0.2% aqueous solution of phosphoric acid(87 ∶13)as mobile phase at flow rate of 0.8mL/min.UV detection was at 210 nm and the column temperature was 28℃.The average recovery of ursolic acid was 98.53% with a RSD of 1.3% in the range of 0.443~7.088μg;the average recovery of oleanolic acid was 98.36% with a RSD of 1.5% in the range of 0.247~3.952μg.There were both good linear correlations with the correlation coefficients of 0.9999.HPLC method was proved to be sensitive,fast and accurate.It can be used for the determination of ursolic acid and oleanolic acid in Different parts of Punica granatum L.
