Observation of Efficacy of TCM Formula Granules on Severe Vomiting after Chemotherapy

Abstract

Objective To study Chinese medicinal granules on severe vomiting after chemotherapy.Methods 60 cases of cancer patients,who had severe vomiting after chemotherapy,were given TCM formula granules during the second chemotherapy cycle.Record and compare the severity of vomiting after chemotherapy in patients during the first and second cycle.Results The average vomiting score after the first and second cycle of chemotherapy were 3.47 and 2.20(P0.05).According to the vomiting score,significantly effective 23 cases(38%),effective 18 cases(30%),ineffective 19 cases(32%).Conclusion TCM formula granules differential treatment has a good therapeutic effect on patients with severe vomiting after chemotherapy.
