Abstract
Objective To observe the biloba joint efficacy plaques of of senile carotid atherosclerosis(AS). Methods elderly carotid As plaque with cerebral infarction in 68 patients(including lacunar infarction), were randomly divided into Ginkgo biloba United simvastatin treatment group and with simvastatin treatment control group. The treatment group taking Ginkgo biloba two, three times a day, 6 months of treatment. Before and after treatment of carotid ultrasound(intima-media thickness) Results As of carotid artery plaque line quantitative analysis. As plaque changes between the two groups carotid significant difference(P 0.05), the treatment group at 6 months neck arteries the AS plaque quantitative decline(P 0.05) than the control group. Conclusion Ginkgo biloba the combined simvastatin long time(more than 6 months) taking on narrow plaque, reduce AS degree of efficacy of some degree of certainty.
