The Primary Research of Expression of p8 in Gastric Cancer

Abstract
Objective To explore the expression and significance of p8 in gastric cancer.Methods The expression of p8 was detected by immunohistochemistry in 45 cases of gastric cancer tissues and 17 cases of normal gastric antral mucosa.The relation between p8 expression and clinical features of patients with gastric cancer was analyzed.Results The expression rate of p8 in gastric cancer tissues was significantly higher than that in nomal antral mucosa (97.8% vs 23.5%,P0.05),and the expression intensity of p8 in gastric cancer tissues was also higher than that in nomal antral mucosa (P0.05).The expression intensity of p8 in poorly differentiated cancer and well-moderately differentiated cancer was higher than that in cancer tissues with lymph node metastasis and cancer tissues without lymph node metastasis,respectively (P0.05).However,p8 protein expression had no correlation with gender,more or less 60 years old and lesion location(P0.05).Conclusion p8 may play an important role in gastric cancinogenesis.
