Clinical curative effect observation of Montelukast on treating 65 cases of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease

Objective To investigate the effect of Montelukast in treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD) clinical efficacy.Methods 62 patients with COPD(control group) were treated with conventional basic treatment,and 65 patients added Montelukast(Montelukast group) on this basis,pulmonary function and blood gas analysis were detected before and after 4 weeks of treatment,serum TNF-α,IL-6,IL-8 were detected by ELISA.Results FEV1%、FEV1/FVC and MVV of Montelukast group and control group were significantly higher than that before treatment,P0.05 or P0.01,and Montelukast group was significantly higher than control group,P0.05.PaO2 of control group increased after treatment,P0.05,while PaCO2 decreased,P0.05;PaO2 of Montelukast group was significantly higher than that before treatment,P0.01,PaCO2 decreased significantly,P0.01,the difference was statistically significant between these two groups,P0.05.IL-6,IL-8,TNF-α of the control group decreased after treatment,P0.05;Montelukast group were significantly lower than that before treatment,P0.01,and lower than the control group,P0.05.Conclusion Clinical effect of Montelukast in treatment of COPD is significant,it is worth in clinical practice.
