Expression of PCNA and P27 in human renal cell carcinoma

Abstract

Objective To study the clinical classification and expression of proliferation cell nuclear antigen(PCNA) and P27(P27 kipl) in human renal cell carcinoma(RCC).Methods The expressions of PCNA and P27 protein in 63 cases of RCC were evaluated with immunohistochemical method.Results The positive expression of PCNA in RCC was higher than that in normal renal tissues,with significant difference(P0.05),while the positive expression of P27 in RCC was lower than that in normal kidney.Conclusions The expression of PCNA is positively correlated with cell clinical classification,while negatively correlated with the expression of P27.Detection of PCNA and P27 can reflect the biologic behavior of RCC.
