Analysis of relationship between p27 and PCNA expression and its clinical significance in stomach carcinoma

Objective To investigate the relationship between p27and PCNA expression in gastric carinoma and clinicopathological parameters.Methods The expression of p27 and PCNA in 62 gastric carcinoma was examined with immunohistochemistry SP method.Results Positive rate of p27 and PCNA expression were 41.9%,83.9%.p27 express was related with Bormann type, lymph-node metastasis and clinical stage.PCNA expression was related with infiltrative depth of tumor. p27 expression was in reverse relation with PCNA expression. Conclusion The expression of p27 and PCNA may be regarded as an important marker in reaction biological signification and prognosis carcinoma.
