Abstract

The Mushan molybdenum deposit is one of the important molybdenum deposits in Henan province which belongs to Qinling-Dabieshan molybdenum deposit metallogenic belt.The Mushan molybdenum deposit is a middle(small) porphyry molybdenum-copper deposit with molybdenum as major ores associated with less copper.Based on the geological and geochemical characteristics,a discussion is made in the paper with a focus on the analysis of alteration zonings,ore-forming fluid,ore-forming geodynamics background,and the indication to ore-prospecting.
