Abstract
Following understandings have been summarized through analysis on distribution regularities and geological ore controlling factors of molybdenum deposits in Henan(1)Molybdenum deposits in Henan belong to part of east Qinling-Dabeishan molybdenum ore belt;(2) Structure-magmatite belt at the margin of geosyncline movement zone is a favorable location for molybdenum mineralization;(3) Host rock is the major ore controlling factor and also the most important exploration indicator;(4) Big Yanshanian granite basement in the region is parent rock for small molybdenum forming rock bodies while the small molybdenum forming rock bodies is the host rock for molybdenum deposit.There is a great consistency in special distribution of the three.
