Abstract
Dashimengou molybdenum deposit in Songxian county Henan province is an ore producing area that has been found and being surveyed by Nucleus Industry Geological Bureau and has mostly recognized as a large scale molybdenum deposit,initially perceived to be hydrothermal molybdenum deposit controlled by cryptoexplosion breccias.The molybdenum orebodies occur in cryptoexposion breccias in the form of lode in large scale.An initial analysis was made on its prospecting potential based on a systematic discussion on its geological characteristics and ore-forming condition.
