Abstract
Through parallel experiments on different processes, it indicated that the removal effect of chemical and biological (flocculation) process was better than that of chemical flocculation process.Under the condition of same dosage of flocculant and coagulant, the removal efficiency of the former enhanced by over 20 percent than that of the latter. At the same time, by measuring the oxygen uptake rate, it proved that there was obvious bacteria activity in chemical and biological flocculation system.
