Abstract
Purpose To analyze the ultrasonic appearance of epidermoid cyst.Method A total of 9 patients were involved in this study.We observed the region,shape,margin and the internal echo of the mass and the internal blood supply with CDFI with 2D High-resolution ultrasound imaging.Results There were 2 cases(2/9) with cystic-solid mixed,2 cases(2/9) with cystic or solid and with 1(1/9) prompted large patchy calcification.Most of the mass had a distinct margin and an uneven internal echo,and there were not bloodstream signal in the mass.Conclusion When detected a breast mass with a clear margin,an uneven internal echo,few having the onion skin echo and no bloodstream signal in the mass,the possibility of epidermoid cyst should be considered.
