Abstract

Objective To explore the clinical value of differential diagnosis of thyroid nodule with colour doppler ultrasound and high frequency Ultrasound. Methods Total 57cases of thyroid lesion with 73 nodules were examined with colour doppler ultrasound and high frequency Ultrasound.5cases of nodular goitre with 19 nodules,30cases of thyroid adenoma with 31nodules,22cases of thyroid carcinoma with 23nodules were confirmed by pathology, among them 50nodules were benign,23 nodules malignant. Results Benign nodules visualized the character of well-defined margin, regular form, hyperechonic and low blood flow in the inner part of the nodules, whereas malignant nodules had the character of indistant margin, irregular form and hypoechonic, microcalcifation, high blood flow in the inner part of the nodules. Conclusion Colour doppler ultrasound and high frequency Ultrasound had clinical value of differential diagnosis on thyroid nodule.
