Abstract

Objective To explore the clinical value of differential diagnosis of thyroid nodule with colour Dopper ultrasound and high frequency ultrasound. Methods 60 cases of thyroid lesion with 78 nodules were examined with colour Doppler ultrasound and high frequency ultrasound.6 cases of nodular goiter with 20 nodules,34 cases of thyroid adenoma with 35 nodules,20 cases of thyroid carcinoma with 23 nodules were confirmed by pathology, among them 50 nodules were benign and 23 nodules malignant. Results Benign nodules visualized the character of well-defined margin, regular form, hyperechonic and low blood flow in the inner part of the nodules, whereas malignant nodules had the character of indistant margin, irregular from hypoechonic, microcalcifation, high blood flow in the inner part of the nodules. Conclusion Colour Doppler ultrasound and high frequency ultrasound had clinical value of differential diagnosis on thyroid nodule.
