Abstract

Objective To evaluate the curative effect and prognosis and security of erythrodermic psoriasis treated by compound glycyrrhizin injection combined with acitretin capsule. Methods The 53 selected patients were randomly divided into two groups according to their visit sequence,in which,28 patients of treatment group were treated by compound glycyrrhizin injection at 80ml initial dosage only once everyday and acitretin capsule with 0.5mg/(kg·d) initial dosage and 10~30 mg/d maintenance dosage, however, the 25 patients of control group were simply treated by acitretin capsule with the same method of ,and the time of therapy of both groups were all 8 weeks; The curative effect, the time of having curative effect and prognosis were analysed by statistics. Results The total effective rate of treatment group was 82.14%,however,which of control group was 44.00%,and there was significant difference between the two groups(P0.01); and the average time of having curative effect of treatment group(6.5±3.5d) was shorten than that of control group(10.5±4.5d),and there also had significant difference between the two groups(P0.01);the recurrence rate was 27.27% and 66.67% separately of the treatment group and the control group during the first year, which was 63.64% and 100.00% during the two years, and all the statistics results showed that there was significant difference between the two groups(P0.05). Conclusion The curative effect and prognosis and security of treating erythrodermic psoriasis by compound glycyrrhizin injection combined with acitretin capsule was beffer than that of acitretin capsule only.
