Abstract

Objective To observe effect of Compound Glycyrrhizin combined with Acitretin in the treatment of generalized pustular psoriasis. Methods 64 patients with generalized pustular psoriasis were randomly divided into two groups, each of 32 cases. The treatment group was given intravenous Compound Glycyrrhizin and oral Acitretin, the control group was only given oral Acitretin;the course was 2 months. The body temperature hypothermia time,no new pustules time, lesions completely subsided time, average hospitalization times, total efficiency of two groups were compared. Results In the treatment group, body temperature hypothermia time was(4.26±1.32) d,no new pustules time was(4.57±1.41) d,lesions completely subsided time was(18.74±3.43) d,average hospitalization times was(21.76±3.78) d;while they were(7.64±1.56) d,(7.66±1.62) d,(28.17±5.38) d,(32.42±5.61) d respectively in the control group;there were significant differences between two groups(all P 0.05).The total effective rate of treatment group was 84.38%,which of control group was 59.38%,the total effective rate of treatment group was significantly higher than the control group(χ2=4.95,P 0.05).Conclusion The effect of Compound Glycyrrhizin combined with Acitretin in the treatment of generalized pustular psoriasis is significantly better than Acitretin only, and it works faster, has less adverse reactions, which is worthy of clinical promotion.
