Clinical Observation of Yiqi Huoxue Decoction in Treatment of Chronic Heart Failure Classified as Qi Deficiency and Blood Stasis

Abstract
Objective:To evaluate the effects of Yiqi Huoxue Decoction in the treatment of chronic heart failure classified as qi deficiency and blood stasis.Methods;We selected 80 patients who were diagnosed as chronic heart failure in our hospital from January 2010 to March 2012.The patients were randomly divided into two groups;control group(40 cases) treated by routine Western medicine treatment and treatment group(40 cases) treated by routine Western medicine treatment and Yiqi Huoxue Decoction for four weeks.Before and after treatment,clinical symptoms,signs and heart classification were studied.The data of LVEF and BNP were collected.Results;Total effective rate of treatment group was95.00%,and it was 77.50%in the control group.The two groups were significantly different(P 0.05).The LVEF and BNP in both groups were improved following the treatment and that in treatment group were superior to that in control group(P 0.05).Conclusion?.Yiqi Huoxue Decoction is effective for chronic heart failure,and is worthy of clinical promotion.
