Abstract

PurposeTo investigate the physicochemistry and bioactivity of goat embryo extraction (GEE) of low molecular weight.MethodsPhysicochemistry was identified by ultraviolet spectrum,HPLC,amino acid analysis and methods from pharmacopoeia.Bioactivity was identified by E rosette formation and T lymphocyte proliferation.ResultsGEE made of 17 kinds of amino acid are mixture containing polypeptides and nucleic acids. It also indicated no protein reaction and apparent toxicity. The activated peptides could notably raise the immunity of T cell.ConclusionGEE has similar properties and may be developed as a new biological substance to transfer factor, placental peptide and thymic peptide.
