Abstract

To make clear of the diverse polypeptides composition consisting of the chicken spleen transfer factor in veterinary.Firstly,freeze thawing method was used in making transfer factor solution from chicken spleen.Secondly,the peptide content and composition,molecular weight,and receptor activity were determined by matrix-assisted laser desorption ionization time of flight mass spectrometry(MALDI-TOF-MS),liquid chromatography- mass spectrometry(LC-MS) and E rosette method,respectively.The preparation of chicken spleen transfer factor solution polypeptide was 1570.8 μg/ mL,activity was 10.92%,the molecular weight of the peptide LC-MS were ranged around 800-7476 Da.There were 581 kinds of polypeptide species,including T inhibitor of apoptosis related protein(TIAL1) and other biologically active protein.The results of the transfer factor composition from the chicken spleen would help us to discover more active ingredients and mechanism in veterinary,and more research works are warranted to be finished in future.
