Abstract

Objective To explore the effect of mosapride, lactulose and bifidobacterium on treatment of 128 elderly type 2 diabetic patients with functional constipation. Methods 128 elderly type 2 diabetic patients with functional constipation were randomly divided into observation group(n=68,treated with mosapride, lactulose and bifidobacterium) and the control group(n =60,treated with mosapride).Clinical curative effect after 4~12 weeks, recurrence rate and incidence rate of adverse reactions were compared between two groups. Results In the observation group, the total effective rate was 91.2%,which was higher than 70%in the control group.Defecation frequency, difficulty degree of defecation, abdominal distention, endless defecate in the observation group were better than the control group. The recurrence rate in the observation group was significantly lower than the control group.Incidence rate of adverse reactions such as abdominal distension, diarrhea, abdominal discomfort in the observation group was significantly lower than the control group(P0.05).Conclusion Application of mosapride, lactulose and bifidobacterium triple therapy in treatment of elderly diabetic patients with functional constipation can effectively improve the clinical symptoms, reduce the relapse rate and avoid incidence of adverse reactions,so it is worthy of clinical application.
