Abstract

Objective:To evaluate the clinical application of CT guided percutaneous fine-needle aspiration biopsy of the lung. Methods:CT guided percutaneous fine-needle aspiration biopsy of the lung was performed in 38 cases. The key points of aspiration biopsy included selection of the appropriate cross-section.Results:①Pathological diagnosis was established in 33 cases, including adenocarcinoma (n=11),squamous carcinoma (n=4),metastatic adenocarcinoma (n=1),undifferentiated carcinoma (n=1),find cancer cell can not differentiation (n=2),anaplastic histocyte (n=3),abscess (n=4),tuberculosis (n=4),inflammatory pseudotumor (n=3);②Uncertain diagnosis by pathology (n=5);③The diagnosis accuracy of percutaneous biopsy was 86.8%,and the false-negative rate was 13.2%;④Complications were 2 cases pneumothorax and 2 cases minor hemoptysis. Conclusion:CT guided percutaneous needle biopsy is an effective and relatively safe method for obtaining diagnostic material from a intrathoracic lesions because of the low complication and high accuracy rate.
