Clinical Study on Series of Jiugan Decoction(救肝汤) in Treating Chronic B Hepatitis

Objective:To observe the clinical effect of Jiugan decoction in treating chronic B Hepatitis.Method:62 patients with chronic B hepatitis were randomly divided into the treatment group(32 cases)treated with series of Jiugan decoction and the control group(30 cases)treated with α-2a interferon for 6 months.Result:In the treatment group,1 case cured,28 cases effective,3 cases ineffective,the total effective rate was 90.6%(95%CI=75.0%～98.1%);In the control group,non case cured,23 cases effective,7 cases ineffective,the total effective rate was 76.7%(95%CI=57.7%～90.1%).There was no significant difference between the two groups in comparision to the total effect (u=1.1150,P=0.2649).The treatment group was superior to the control group in improving symptoms and signs and reviving liver function.Conclusion:Jiugan decoction series was superior to interferon in improving symptoms and signs and reviving liver function.And had same effect as interferon in the total clinical effect.OR=0.34,NNT=7.
