Abstract
Objective: To explore the way to improve compliance of elderly patients with hypertension.Methods:103 discharged elderly patients with hypertension were randomly divided into intervention group and control group.Both groups received usual healthy education,the intervention group did additional family intervention.The change of compliance of two groups patients were observed,including timely review,self-monitoring of blood pressure,regular medication,diet control,psychological adjustment,physical therapy.And blood pressure of patients was closely monitored.Results: The compliance behavior and blood pressure control of the intervention group patients was obviously better than the control ones.Conclusion: The family intervention has a positive impact on the compliance behavior in elderly hypertensive patients.
