Abstract

Objective:To study the expression of the leukemia inhibitory factor(LIF) and its receptor(LIFR) in preterm placental tissue and decidua tissues. Methods:Immunohistochemical staining to detect leukemia inhibitory factor(LIF) and its receptor(LIFR) in 30 cases of preterm birth(experimental group),30 cases of artificial abortion(control group) placenta and decidua tissue.Using chi-square test(Chi-Square Test) test LIF,LIFR in preterm and artificial abortion of the expression whether there are differences. Results:The LIF,LIFR in preterm placental tissues positive rates were 6.7% and 10% and in decidual tissues positive rates were 10% and 13.3%.Conclusion:The leukemia inhibitory factor(LIF) and its receptor(LIFR) for the maintenance of late pregnancy remains to be studied further.
