Learning Theory of Social Constructivism and Its Enlightenment to Teaching of Composition

How to improve the quality of Chinese teaching and learning is one of the awkward problems of new curriculum reform.However,the learning theory of social constructivism lays emphasis on socio-cultural mechanisms behind knowledge construction.In this sense,the instruction of this theory means that existence of students as social beings must be taken into account in the process of composition teaching and learning,and this provides another perspective and enlightenment for improvement of quality of composition teaching and learning through composition teaching and learning of teachers and students,which is linked to Borden social background,so that,students gain thinking training in the composition teaching and learning.
