Determination of Puerarin in New Form of Yuanjilinganhe Medicinal Tea by HPLC

Abstract

Objective To establish an HPLC method to determine the content of puerarin in the new form of Yuanjilinganhe medicinal tea.Methods The HPLC method was employed with a column of Kromasil 100-5 C18(150 mm × 4.6 mm,5 μm) and a mobile phase of methanol-water(22∶ 78),the detection wavelength was at 250 nm,the flow rate was 1.0 mL/ min,and the column temperature was room temperature.Results The linear range was 0.165 6 ～ 4.14 μg.The average recovery of puerarin and RSD were 99.0% and 2.0%,respectively.Conclusion The method is simple,accurate and reliable.It can be used for the quality control of the new form of Yuanjilinganhe Medicinal Tea.
