Abstract

Objective: To investigate the reduction of inflammation and fibrosis in pationts with chronic hepatitis B by Lamivudine. Methods:348 cases were divided into two groups randomly (178 cases in study group treated with 100mg per day, 170 cases in control group). Alanine aminotransferase, total bilirubin ,albumin, globulin, hyaluronic acid, collagen type Ⅳ,procollagen type Ⅲ were detected. Results: These indexes in two groups were improved significantly after the treatment (P0.001), but the study group was more superior to the control group (P0.001).Conclusion:Lamivudine is helpful to reduce the inflammation and fibrosis in chronic hepatitis B.
