Abstract
The education reform is one of the main contents of the policy in late Qing Dynasty. It is a reform to borrow and transplant Japan's educational system, to lay stress on patriotic and nationalist education and to de-velop pedagogical education after the failure of Jia Wu Battle. Although it is easy to find the sign of feudalism and plagiarism in it, the reform is still of milestone significance in the modernization of Chinese education.
